Amy vs. Fabric is a one-woman-show. All of my items are handmade one-at-a-time in my West Asheville home studio, not mass-produced in an overseas factory.

is EXPANDING!!

Y’alI, I am THRILLED to announce the expansion of my studio space! I have been working out of my 100 sq ft bedroom studio (with work overflowing to my dining room, living room, hallway, back porch and basement). It’s well past time for an upgrade! After browsing around town for a studio space with no luck, we decided to build the studio in our backyard. Thanks to my super talented husband, I will soon be moving into a 384 sq ft sewing she-shed! It’s been quite the rollercoaster ride, including having to suddenly cut down 9 trees due to a lightning strike, but it will all be worth it! I have already purchased another 3-head embroidery machine (“Trey”) and will be able to take on more work with shorter turn-around times.
